A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. We use as few as we can, and nothing that is not strictly necessary is set until you say yes.
Your choice
You have not chosen yet, so only essential cookies are set.
Strictly necessary — always set
These make the shop work. They cannot be turned off, and we do not need permission for them.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ff_consent | Remembers the choice you made above, so we stop asking. It holds one word and a version number. | 1 year |
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid | Set by Stripe on the payment page to detect card fraud. Without them we cannot safely take a payment. | 1 year / 30 minutes |
Analytics and advertising — only if you accept
We advertise on Google. These tell us which advert brought somebody who went on to order, which is how we decide what to keep paying for. If you decline, none of them are set, we can still sell you a flashing, and we simply do not learn where you came from.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
ff_attr | Remembers which advert or link you arrived from, so a sale can be matched to it. Set by us, not shared with anyone. | 90 days |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics — how many people use the site and which pages they use. | Up to 2 years |
_gcl_* | Google Ads — links a completed order back to the advert that produced it. | Up to 90 days |
Until you accept, Google’s tags run with every storage type denied, so nothing is written to your device.
Turning them off in your browser
Every browser can block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will stop the payment page working.
What we do with the information behind them is in our privacy policy.
