What we make
Sheet-metal flashings, folded to the dimensions you give us. Every piece is made for your order — nothing is taken off a shelf. We can make profiles up to 1250 mm girth with up to 10 folds, in lengths from 50 mm to 3000 mm.
The drawing is the specification
Before you pay, the site shows you a dimensioned drawing of what you have asked for. That drawing is what we make. If you photographed a sketch and we read it for you, you are asked to confirm every figure on it individually — the drawing becomes yours at the point you confirm it, not at the point we read it.
Please check it against what you measured. We make what the drawing says. We cannot check whether it fits your building, and a correct flashing made to a wrong measurement is not a fault.
Prices
Prices are shown including VAT at 20% unless stated otherwise, and include delivery to a mainland Britain address. The price you see at the point of payment is the price you pay; we do not add anything afterwards.
Payment
Payment is taken in full when you order, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Delivery
We deliver to mainland Britain. We will confirm a lead time by email when your order reaches the works. Someone needs to be able to take the delivery — the driver will ring the mobile number on the order shortly before arriving.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If a delivery is refused or nobody is available, we may charge the cost of redelivery.
Changing your mind
Because every flashing is made to your own dimensions, there is no right to cancel once we have started making it. This is the exemption for goods made to a consumer’s specification under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You confirm you understand this when you pay.
If you get in touch before your order reaches the shop floor we will always try to stop or change it, and if we can, we will. Ring 01245 905540 rather than emailing — orders move quickly.
If something is wrong with it
Your legal rights are unaffected by anything above. If a flashing is faulty, damaged in transit, or is not what the approved drawing shows, tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will replace it or refund it. Please keep the packaging and send us a photograph — it is usually the quickest way to sort it out.
Sheet metal is delivered with a protective film and light surface marking from handling is normal. Colour may vary slightly between production batches, so if you are matching existing work, order the whole job at once.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking this contract. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, and we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else it would be unlawful to exclude.
If you are buying in the course of a business, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contract or any indirect loss.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
